Improving the Livelihood Environment

Building Solidarity and Cooperation

SUTRA seeks to foster solidarity between state institutions and the beneficiaries they serve. Through collaborative efforts between Egyptian government ministries and civil society organisations, the initiative creates a unified front to address challenges faced by vulnerable communities. This partnership leverages collective expertise, resources, and support to maximise impact.

Low-Cost, High-Quality Implementation

One of the notable features of the SUTRA project is its emphasis on implementing and managing the initiative at a low cost without compromising quality. Misr El-Kheir Foundation has strategically designed the project to optimize resource allocation and ensure efficient fund utilisation. This approach allows for more beneficiaries to enjoy improved living conditions within the allocated budget.

Achievements of 2024

Phase 7:

The initiative has improved the lives of families by providing 600 housing units and enhancing their living conditions.

Phase 8:

  • 600 houses expected to be finalized by the end of March 2025.
  • Thousands of job opportunities created, with contractors selected from the same governorates where the work was carried out.
